Brands & websites for small businesses that grow

A four-person design studio in Leeds. Enquiries reach us by email, the website form, Facebook, Instagram and voicemail, and every one now lands in our tools without anyone copying it over. Watch a morning's worth below.

What a small brand
actually needs

Branding, websites and shops for cafés, trades and makers. One small team from first sketch to launch day, and after.

Five inboxes.
One tidy list.

It's Tuesday morning. Enquiries arrive from all over. Runeflake reads each one, pulls out who, what, budget and how soon, spots people who've been in touch before and files it where you choose. Pick your tools, then press start.

LUMEN

Four people, one studio in Leeds

We're a small studio making brands and websites for cafés, trades and makers who'd rather be doing the work than chasing the paperwork.

We answer enquiries between client work, which used to mean a notebook, three inboxes and a spreadsheet nobody updated. Now every enquiry is logged the moment it lands, with the budget and deadline pulled out.

The first thing we do each morning is open one list, sorted with anything urgent at the top. Nobody copies and pastes, and nobody gets missed because they messaged the wrong account.

How it works

Three steps, no copying

  1. The Lumen team talking through a project around a meeting table

    Step 01

    Every door watched

Your inbox, website form, Facebook page, Instagram and voicemail transcripts all feed one place. Nothing to forward by hand.
  2. Three designers looking at a laptop together

    Step 02

    The details pulled out

Name, contact, service, budget and deadline are read from the message. Someone who's been in touch before is added to their record, not a new one.
  3. The team gathered round a laptop, smiling

    Step 03

    Filed your way

A row in your sheet, a card on your board or a deal in your CRM, plus a heads-up in Slack or email. Anything urgent goes to the top.
